Driverless sky trains tested in central China

This suspended monorail is on a test run from Jiufeng Mountain Station in central China’s Wuhan City. With a maximum speed of 60 kilometers per hour, the driverless sky train moves around on a 10.5 kilometer-long aerial track in Wuhan’s Optics Valley, a hub for technology companies. The line, China’s first commercial sky train, provides a new option for urban public transportation. It is expected to be put into commercial operation this year.
